At the end of of every year, I look forward to the best of 2018 on my Instagram feed. And every year, I am intrigued to see what images were the most popular. Every year, my family ends up in the top nine, even though it is my business account and I share very few […]

Annapolis Newborn Photographer | Baby David {12 days old}
I ventured to Arnold, Maryland just outside of Annapolis, to photograph Baby David the week before Christmas. I found some great light in Baby David’s room and was able to capture him with his furry big brother, Percy. While I do a tiny bit of posed photography, the lifestyle newborn shoots are what I live […]
Maternity Session Photographer in Washington DC | B Family at Rock Creek Park’s Boulder Bridge
Venturing into Washington DC for a maternity session at a new place was a great way to start my Christmas break! If you haven’t been to Rock Creek Park, this location was a dream. This gorgeous mama wanted her maternity shots on Boulder Bridge in Rock Creek Park. Because the park is taken care of by the National Park Service, clients have to pay for a permit, just like they would for the National Mall. I’m so glad that didn’t deter her, because this session was amazing.
Pregnancy Announcement Photographer for Andrews AFB | Bianco Family at Rosaryville State Park
I know I say this is a maternity session, but really it was a family session coupled with a pregnancy announcement. Even though it was hot, I had so much fun with this sweet family! This family only wanted a mini session because they were thinking they just wanted pregnancy announcement photos. I wanted to […]
Calvert County Photographer: Peach Blossom Minis at Swann Farms
So to say that life since March has been busy is an understatement. Here it is the end of July, and I’m *just* writing about my spring peach blossom minis at Swann Farms. First, let me say that Swann Farms was just AMAZING to work with. I had been there for berry picking with my […]
Liam’s Birthday at the Polymath Place
This year I just couldn’t do our traditional birthday party at home. Maybe because this year isn’t a traditional year; with my husband gone, I knew I couldn’t handle a house full of four year olds running around. I didn’t want to clean it just to re-clean it again. As most of you know, I […]
Sunflower Mini Session | Calvert County Lifestyle Photographer
So while I’ve been trying to cut back on photography, I just couldn’t resist sunflowers. I had been hunting for some last summer, but everything I found was too far away. Then, I came across an event on Facebook with the Accokeek Foundation featuring their Sunflower Days. One of my best friends from college was […]
Richardson Military Promotion | Family Photographer Washington, DC Area
It’s hard to believe that it was just last year that my family was in the Richardson’s shoes. We celebrated my husband’s promotion to Lt. Colonel in the Air Force over Memorial Day last year. I know my husband was a bit envious of Jason Richardson’s promotion when I came home and told him about […]
DMV Area Family Photographer | Korean 100th Day Celebration: Nolan
If you are looking for a good gift to give a friend or family member, photography really is one of the best gifts you can give. My friends Linda and Jun gifted Linda’s sister with a session for her son Nolan’s 100th Day Celebration. If you are wondering what a 100th Day Celebration is, don’t […]
Themed Sessions: Best Friends or Mommy and Me!
Now that the school year is about to end, are your children losing a best friend who has to move? Or is your best friend moving? Or maybe you have realized that now that it is “officially” spring that May is right around the corner, and you need a Mother’s Day gift for you wife. […]
