Pregnancy Announcement Photographer for Andrews AFB | Bianco Family at Rosaryville State Park

I know I say this is a maternity session, but really it was a family session coupled with a pregnancy announcement. Even though it was hot, I had so much fun with this sweet family!

This family only wanted a mini session because they were thinking they just wanted pregnancy announcement photos. I wanted to make sure they knew I didn’t do overly posed photos, and they said they knew that! I’m glad they did…it really was a family session/maternity session and we let the little boy’s shirt do the announcing! This was at one of my favorite locations, Rosaryville State Park.

This family was fun and playful and game for anything, so we had a blast (despite some crazy hot weather). One of the things that they did that I highly recommend is bringing a friend to your family photo session. It’s great to have someone to help carry your stuff or watch your kiddo if you want some shots with your spouse.

And let me tell you…thirty minutes FLEW by. Just when everyone was really getting comfortable, the session was over. We had another venue at the park where I would have loved to get some more shots, but we ran out of time. I always let you add time one the day of, but it’s more expensive. I know you may fear being in front of the camera that long, but I promise I make it fun so your session will fly by!

WEDDING & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY FOR PEOPLE WHO want their story told

Hi. I’m Teresa. While photography is a part-time job for me, documenting your stories doesn’t ever get treated like it’s not important. My full-time gig is teaching high school English, journalism, and photography at an all-boys’ school in Washington, DC. Journalism is my favorite subject to teach because it is as much about writing as it is about the art of observing the world, and I became a photographer because of my experiences in photojournalism.

You’ll see in galleries with my families, children, newborns, or weddings, my style definitely is more about documenting connection and trying to create real moments. I love a good portrait, but my heart is happiest when I get real smiles from people loving on and playing with each other.
