Themed Sessions: Best Friends or Mommy and Me!

Now that the school year is about to end, are your children losing a best friend who has to move? Or is your best friend moving?

Or maybe you have realized that now that it is “officially” spring that May is right around the corner, and you need a Mother’s Day gift for you wife. Or maybe you that wife that takes a million pictures of your spouse with your children but you have few of you and your kids…then these themed sessions may be for you!

On April 22, I’ll be offering my first themed sessions: Best Friends or Mommy and Me!

For $50, you get to choose which type of session you want,  you get 20 minutes of me taking pictures, and you get to select your five favorite images from the gallery and which of those five images you want for a print! You can upgrade and purchase the entire gallery, too, for an additional fee, and other prints and products are also available for purchase. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot.

I will be hosting a morning session on Joint Base Andrews and an evening session in Northern Calvert County (exact location to be determined).

The Mommy and Me session is limited to ONLY mothers and their children. Grandmothers are also welcome to participate, though. Moms will get one complimentary 5×7 of the image of their choice with the option to purchase more prints or products.

The best friend session is limited to two to four friends. The “best friends” can be children or adults. These can be great gifts if someone is moving! Each best friend will get a 4×6 of the image of their choice with the option to purchase more prints or products.

If you are on my mailing list, you will be able to start booking these sessions TOMORROW, March 22. If you aren’t already on my mailing list, then you have to wait until Friday, March 24 to book! If you want to get on my mailing list, look for the “Subscribe” widget on the right of this post!

Meet Teresa

Hi. I’m Teresa. While photography is a part-time job for me, documenting your stories doesn’t ever get treated like it’s not important. My full-time gig is teaching high school English, journalism, and photography at an all-boys’ school in Washington, DC. Journalism is my favorite subject to teach because it is as much about writing as it is about the art of observing the world, and I became a photographer because of my experiences in photojournalism.

You’ll see in galleries with my families, children, newborns, or weddings, my style definitely is more about documenting connection and trying to create real moments. I love a good portrait, but my heart is happiest when I get real smiles from people loving on and playing with each other.
