Annapolis Engagement Session | R+W
Tomorrow is R+W’s wedding, so in typical teacher Teresa fashion, I’m finally posting their Annapolis engagement session! R wanted downtown Annapolis so we made it happen!
The couple met in October 2019 after connecting via a dating site. R actually rain checked him a few times until one day when she randomly asked him to meet her at Panera. He arrived an hour early to our agreed time, and he got up to go to the bathroom just as she came in and ordered her food. She took a seat at a booth, and it turned out that he had been sitting at that exact booth. They talked for a few hours that night. The very next day we went on what she liked to think as their first official date for Indian food and then went for what they called a digestive walk on Solomons Island.
They’ll head back to Solomons Island tomorrow for every part of their wedding! R said that “the island has held a special place for us from the very beginning.” Wade is a waterman hobbiest, and she finds peace by the water. This is also something we share with their. Covid brought a lot of challenges…. but they pulled through!
R told me that “he was so unexpected to [her] life.” “When I met him, I never thought I’d fall so deeply and wholly for this man,” she stated.
So tomorrow, we’ll celebrate them! We start off the day at the hotel for getting ready, Victoria’s Inn, a Bed & Breakfast for family and couple portraits, the local Catholic church Our Lady Star of the Sea for the wedding ceremony, and a reception at a Solomon’s wedding.
I love that their Annapolis engagement session was also by the water, a favorite place of theirs! What beautiful weather they have tomorrow. I cannot wait for their day!
I am now booking 2025 weddings. I only take a handful a year as lead, so now is the time to book! My main wedding page will tell you about my approach to weddings, but this page will give you full details on pricing. I like to be transparent! E-mail me at teresa@tcjdesign.com to book your wedding or engagement session!
