Joint Base Andrews Lifestyle Newborn Photographer |Baby Amelia {3 Weeks Old}

Lifestyle newborn photography is one of my favorite genres to document! Amelia’s family had one main element that I love when doing a session: a lot of kids! I know many people get nervous around the chaos of a big family, but the fact that was the youngest out of five made it even more special for me!

Amelia’s mom had an experience that I have had many times with my third. After the first few kids, you start thinking, I don’t need this… or I can get by without this. Sometimes you really don’t need it, and other times, you are trying to save money because you have more kids! After soaking in the newness of Amelia for a few weeks, Amelia’s mom realized that newness was fleeting, so reached out to see if we could have a lifestyle newborn session ASAP. She initially thought she didn’t need another newborn session, but as Amelia grew, she knew she wanted to document it!

I’m so glad that even at three weeks Amelia finally gave in and let us get her in a good wrap and fell asleep. And she rocked her sessions with the siblings and mom, dad, and Uncle Bob! A lifestyle newborn session is so much fun because rather than just having a lot of pictures of the baby, you get to capture all of the chaos and love of everyone in the family!
