Calvert County Front Porch Minis | The G Family
So I know that while the state is opening up, not everyone feels 100% comfortable with that, and that’s why I’ll be continuing my front porch minis into the summer. Calvert County and St. Mary’s county opened for photographers sooner than some of the other municipalities, but I know that not everyone is ready to move forward. That’s OK. I’m not either.
My youngest has been on a nebulizer twice in the last year for fluid in his lungs. It’s been kind of nice not dealing with sick kids, and for me, there is just too much unknown with this virus. I have anxiety about keeping my family safe.
So that said, I know that’s not how everyone feels, but I’ll be offering photography only outdoors in a socially distanced setting while wearing a mask. So for counties that are open to business like Calvert County, what’s a good solution for photos without feeling like you have to be exposed to people? Calvert County front porch minis.
Because I know not everyone is ready to leave home, the front porch minis will stay, but I’ll also offer normal outdoor sessions. Just prep your kids that I *will* be wearing a mask during our sessions together. Other great reasons for sessions at home are that you can include pets that never get in your family photos AND you have access to a clean bathroom in case your kids need a bathroom break. You can have popsicles or ice cream or sprinklers. You can wear masks and have pets in the photos. There are so many options!
This family is one that I have loved photographing since I started my business! I can always count on my girl Hazel to make the session fun — whether we have a 20-minute session or an hour together! And I’m so glad I finally got their dogs in some photos!
To book your Calvert County front porch minis session or any other outdoor session, just visit my contact page or e-mail me at teresa@tcjdesign.com. Right now, I’m only booking sessions for June and July, and please know that I will be abiding by state and county laws for sessions, so if there is a covid 19 spike again and a stay-at-home order is re-issued with non-essential businesses closed again, I will be following those orders.
