Great Falls Engagement Session | L+D

L+D snuck in their Great Falls engagement session between a period of very rainy Maryland weather! It was a sunny morning, and L and I bonded over being almost done with our school years since it was May. They love hiking and being in nature, so we were able to capture that part of them in their engagement session.

Today, I get to document their love and help them celebrate at the Airlie in Warrenton, Va. I’m so excited for a new venue and all of the gorgeous spots on the grounds we can go to!

I only take a handful of weddings a year to ensure that I can give my clients a great experience and get their gallery to them in a timely manner. Engagement sessions are a must for me with my clients. I donate my time to them and do not charge; they are that important to me for making sure the wedding day goes smoothly. While at this Great Falls engagement session, I was able to test poses with their heights, see what they liked and didn’t like, and get them comfortable in front of my camera.

An important piece of being able to take just a few weddings each year is that I can really give more to my clients. In addition to the engagement sessions, I often help with timelines, and it’s always a goal of mine to get their wedding galleries to them quickly. I do a sneak peek on their wedding night, post a bigger sneak peek on Facebook within a week, and while I have 12 weeks on my contract, my goal is always by your one month anniversary.
