Calvert County Photographer Branding Session | Lisa {Hyperfocus Now}
July 2, 2019 By  Teresa With  0 Comment
In  Branding Sessions + Headshots  /  Photography

Branding Sessions are not sessions I get to do often, but I love them when I do get a few mixed in! Lisa reached out to me because she needed some updated headshots and images to use for her new business endeavor Hyperfocus Now.

One-on-one sessions like a branding session are so much fun because I love getting to know new people! Lisa’s business is focused on online education, so as a high school teacher myself, I was intrigued. I know of other companies similar to hers that I explored when I thought about teaching online when we lived in Texas.

Besides chatting about work, we discovered we both are military spouses and that she goes to Church at our old parish! I think discovering these connections are what I love the most about photography. As I get older, my husband and I are just so tired and have become such introverts. With every new job, he gets leadership positions where it’s more challenging for him to have a friend unit from work. I we didn’t have the parents of our kids’ friends, my co-workers from the high school, and a few neighbors, we’d have no friends!

Photography allows me to get to know individuals and families in our community, which I love! And if I’m lucky enough, I get invited back time after time for all of their important events!

Also, huge, huge thanks to The Lobby Coffee Bar for letting us use their venue for the shots! Community over competition! If you haven’t been there, the food is great, and the people who work there are the kindest souls! (It is my place to grade when I don’t want to be home!)

If you are interested in booking a session, message me through my contact page or e-mail me at teresa@tcjdesign.com. I still have summer openings! I would love to help you build your brand with a branding session, capture you children’s milestones, or document the love in your family!

    There is something I just love about the 2-4 age. I embrace the curiosity, the desire to be close to mom and dad, the silliness, the raw emotions. I know many photographers hate this age. Yes, it's hard to get them to sit still, but I love playing games and letting them explore. I can get them to just be. Now that my kids are older, it's harder to get them to just BE in front of the camera. I miss them at this age. So simple, beautiful, and fun.

    I'm taking my kids into DC to hit a museum and Ford's Theater with a friend today, and when I go near the National Mall, I still can't get over how lucky I am to live here. It doesn't get old seeing the monuments and history at our doorstep!

I still have one more slot open for my August 20 National Mall mini sessions! It's at 7:20 a.m. Book by going here: https://tcjdesign.hbportal.co/schedule/60e34d525768d7003239e230
    This maternity session. 😍 I will be oversharing this.
    My 7:20 am National Mall mini slot for August 20 is still available! Tag a friend you think might be interested. Details are in my most recent blog on www.tcjdesign.com.
    Families with older kids, please get your photos taken, too. Documenting all milestones are important… and your oldest going off to college is definitely one of them!
    My world. ❤️
    When our photographer canceled, I bought a tripod and just attempted photos myself. Not as much fun for me, but I got in the frame!
    If you are on my mailing list, tomorrow evening you will want to check your email! Access happens around 7 p.m. for tree farm minis! This year they will be held on November 5 with an inclement weather date of November 6. The link will go out to the general public not on my mailing list on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. These usually book fast, and pricing wise, they're my best deal of the year, so Merry Christmas a bit early! :) 🎄
