So I had every intention of blogging about my Christmas tree farm minis before Christmas, but my break from teaching has gone anything but planned! After battling a virus all week, I’m finally starting to feel a bit like myself and I’m trying to knock things off my monstrous to-do list. 
Since I have been back teaching full-time, I’ve been shooting a few times a month, but I’ve been horrible about getting those sessions up on the blog! So I’m working hard this winter at getting my website updated with some of my favorite sessions from 2017. I have had so many favorite sessions, but capturing 14 clients and their families in one day probably makes for my busiest photography day yet.
I hadn’t planned on doing holiday shots this year between my schedule at the high school and my husband’s crazy work schedule, but I am so glad that I did. Friendship Trees and Christmas Shop in Southern Anne Arundel County is just a 10-minute drive from my house and was a good central location for my clients who were coming from Calvert County and Joint Base Andrews. A few families even made the trek from Virginia! Of course, it was the coldest day in November, but these families and my assistants were troopers. I am thinking of making it an annual event!
We had babies, dogs, and extended families, and for one family, it was even their first family photography session! I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorites from the day. I still can’t believe what troopers the babies and toddlers were in the cold!
I am booking sessions for 2018; my availability will be more limited in January and February, and I will open up again to 3-4 sessions per month starting in March, and I’ll be back to full-time once the school year is over at the end of May.
