Jefferson Patterson Park Engagement Session

It feels like Sarah and Matthew’s Jefferson Patterson Park Engagement Session was yesterday; I don’t know how we are on the eve of their wedding day at the Barn at Parker’s Creek, but here we are! I am so glad we have great weather for the day.
It had been a while since I had been to JPP for a session, but every time I go there, I’m reminded of why it’s a great place for any time of session. There’s so much variety in backdrops. That is one of the things I always look for when scouting locations. I am so happy that the dock area is back open. It has such great lighting and is one of my favorite spots. I love the renovations that have happened to the Patterson House, too!
It’s crazy when I think about the fact that I have been using this location for TEN years now. This May marks my tenth year as a legitimate business, and I have learned so much about photography and have grown so much as a photographer. If you live in St. Mary’s County, Charles County, or Calvert County, you should think about Jefferson Patterson Park engagement session. A plus of this location is that it is open sunrise to sunset unlike other parks in Calvert County.
Booking Your Session
To learn more about my approach to wedding photography, head over to my wedding page. You’ll see I like to be very transparent about pricing. You’ll also see I include a second shooter in all of my packages. I think that other set of eyes is so important in storytelling and so you’ll see that in my all of my packages. If you are really on a budget, I can bring the pricing down by eliminating the second shooter, though.
