St. Francis Hall Wedding | St. Hughes’ in Greenbelt Ceremony

I am back at St. Francis Hall in a few weeks, and I realized I never shared on here my wedding a few years ago from there, so I wanted to make sure it gets a permanent place so here’s the St. Francis Hall wedding! It actually took place in Greenbelt, Maryland, too, with getting ready at the bride’s home and the ceremony at the local Catholic church; St. Hughes; the guys got ready in DC!
This wedding was extra special for me because the bride was a former student. It is always an honor to document my students’ weddings. (Side note: I’ve gotten to do this THREE times and they have been the most special weddings for me! I know the families some, and generally, I know a lot of the wedding party. It is always so much fun.)
Going back to St. Francis Hall was also so special because when I was a high school retreat coordinator we held retreat days here. It holds a lot of memory for me!
What I love about this venue: the gardens next door are amazing and it’s such a unique place in DC! The stage inside is great for bands, and it’s just a unique spot in DC. I love how much creativity I can have there, and I love how we can get some many different looks in such a short space.
